Been suffering from a bad foot, a fallen arch so I am told,so not done much walking lately. I dawned on me to grin and bear it, get out and enjoy yourself..
With this in mind we set off for the Lake district hoping to catch the Wainwright bagging bug again. I completed my first round of Wainwrights a few years ago on my 50th birthday, a grand day on Mellbreak that I will never forget...But since then visits up to the Lakes have been few and far between, over the last few years I have only managed to reach the summits of 28 tops for my second round.
